Kidnutrition.org is a means to a better life and a strike against childhood obesity.  We believe the greatest gift anyone can give a child is a healthy start.

A healthy start is defined by Kidnutrition.org as children well educated on what to eat and how to eat, and given the opportunity to choose from among foods that truly feed their bodies.

Founded in 2004, Kidnutrition.org is
an organization dedicated to promoting
smarter nutritional choices for healthier
children throughout the USA and the world.

Heading up the organization is the Executive Director and National Spokesperson Robin Fleming, a former senior executive in the food industry, having worked for over 10+ years in the food processing, manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing of over 1000 products.

Having retired from corporate life to raise a family, Ms. Fleming well knows the challenges parents face in teaching children how to make good nutritional choices given the limited offerings in our schools and restaurants.   Kidnutrition.org supports all programs that address these challenges in a positive, fun and life-affirming way.

With childhood obesity reaching epidemic proportions in the USA, KidNutrition.org is reaching out to local, state and national organizations and working with food industry companies to change standards for children's fare to provide healthier futures for our children.  We believe an 'ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'.

Proposed solutions include legislating childhood education on nutrition and behavior, community programs fostering family education and mandated accountability programs for food industry offerings.   We welcome your support and involvement.   For more information about our programs, send an email to
fyi@kidnutrition.com.  For more information about fighting childhood obesity, sign up for the KidNutrition.org  FREE newsletter distributed by email.  The newsletter adds to the information presently on the site, and expands on various issues raised.
